UK | 500 km of Spa Tony Hegebourne Race number: 52 5-slot nose + 2 yellow bands Possibly due to a mechanical or tyre failure, his TZ/1 somersaulted at maximum speed just after Malmedy, going down the Masta straight. The car landed in a field; Tony was gravely wounded, suffering injuries that included a fractured spine and a broken leg.
