The 'double bubble'


The term 'double bubble' is not describing an extra large bubble gum...

It refers to an invention made by Zagato - lowering the roofline without narrowing the passengers heads.

Here the roof and trunk are showing this typical Zagato design-element. Normally only roofs on some Zagato bodied cars had the bend.
