Here we have a genuine copy of Tazio Nuvolari, Ricordi di Vita Rapida by Renato Tassinari issued in 1930 by Libreria Editrice Degli Omenoni in Milano, Italy.
Reputedly, this is the very first Italian book about a sports person AT ALL!
One has to take into account that Nuvolari was still only 38 years old when this book appeared and that his biggest successes were still ahead of him!
The photographs alone tell a fantastic tale about the man who was so affectionately nicknamed "The Flying Mantuan"!
A VERY rare book of which not many have survive the passing of time...

La Scuderia Ferrari 1929 - 1939 by Orisini and Zagari.
Publishing date: 1979Binding: Hardbound with dustjacketPages: 432Text: ItalianEdition: First, 1979Publisher: Editoriale Olimpia
Peerless coverage of the important 1929-1939 period of the Scuderia Ferrari racing team.
Superbly illustrated throughout.
In very good condition, some foxing / spotting to front endpapers, spine of dust jacket lightly faded, small repaired tear to dust jacket at top of spine and the usual slight discoloration on the spine of the dustjacket.
Please note that the dustjacket has an additional plastic cover which can be easily removed but gives some reflections in the photographs which may look like discolorations but are not.
A very rare book and often considered the holy grail of Ferrari books.
Italian version which is much better and more elaborately illustrated than the, later, English version.

This is a vintage 1927 - 1932 set of 6 connecting rods, 6 big-end bearings and 6 pistons from an Alfa Romeo 6C 1900.
The conrods and bearings will fit all three models, the pistons are for the 1900 but can be machined down to fit the 6C1750 as well but won't fit the 1500.
I acquired this set from a 6C1900 owner who is extensively modifying his engine and sold this set to fund the modifications.
Please note that this is ONLY available as a set (it won't be broken up!) and that I preferably would sell this of a 6C1500 / 6C1750 / 6C1900 owner to keep his (or her!) car running.
